Some Information on the Rumors Surrounding the Development on Madeira Beach
- Rumor number one: Many customers ask when the businesses on the post office side are moving. We are not moving. We are not part of the development. This includes Post Office, Dive Shop, Colette's Fashions, and the bar and restaurant.
- Rumor number two: When construction begins on the other side of the street the remaining businesses will be closed. This is not true; although the street may be closed off sometimes there is plenty of parking on the rear of the Post Office building. Just take Municipal Drive and enter the parking lot in the rear of the buildings.
- Another footnote: The Saltwater Hippie Store will still be on Madeira Way. The New Madeira Way location will be next to Colette's Fashions. It will be great having all the retail as neighbors.

This is the plan for 150th and Madeira Way. The yellow area is the area to be developed. As you can see the post office located in the grey area next to the end of the "Hockey stick" is not affected as are the stores north of that. In other words Colette's Fashions is part of the post office building.
