ASKING FOR ASSITANCE
Many ladies ask for help when choosing swimwear. We can make suggestions; but when a customer tries it on, she needs to tell us what it is about a suit we chose she doesn't like so we can help her find one that might be perfect. It's frustrating to just hear "I don't like it" we will ask her what it is she doesn't like. If the customer is not specific about her dislikes, we just don't have enough information to find the right suit.
EXP of what would be helpful to say:
"Not crazy about the color but I like the style"
"Suit is too short for me"
" I"d like a more fitted suit"
" I don't like the round neck"
"The style is very flattering and comfortable, but I hate the print"
" I like a skirt bottom better than a brief"
and so on....
Those comments help. We have suits in the back, we have suits on the hangers that are similar with the print a customer likes.
If you feel we are being too pushy and a customer decides she may want to explore on their own, we need to know that too.
Good Service is about communication on both sides.
